The Postgraduate Program in Production and Manufacturing Engineering - PPGEPM, master level, has as its main objective to contribute to the development of the Production and Manufacturing Engineering area, especially with regard to i) the formation of highly qualified human resources and ii) the development of cutting-edge scientific research in the area. Graduates of the PPGEPM should be able to work in research, development and innovation in professional and academic segments.
To successfully achieve these objectives, we continuously act on the following actions:
- Train masters in Production and Manufacturing Engineering capable of developing research, development and innovation activities in institutions of excellence in both the professional segment (industries, research centers, consultancies, etc.), as well as the academic segment;
- Introduce or deepen, through a diverse set of subjects, relevant topics in Production and Manufacturing Engineering and related areas, as well as provide the necessary bases for the graduate to be able to use the tooling of these areas in practical problems arising from different fields of knowledge;
- Contribute to the development of scientific and technological research at the postgraduate level in the area of Production and Manufacturing Engineering, leveraging scientific publications and increasing the potential for project financing through research funding agencies, both national and international in emerging areas at Unicamp;
- Promote research groups formed by teachers, students and post-doc level interns, able to work in the area of Production and Manufacturing Engineering in a national and international scope.
