Student engagement is highly valued at FCA. Students participate in dozens of student organizations operating inside and outside the university, such as consultancies and community services.
Student organizations are classified in the FCA, according to the Internal Rules of the Council of Student Organizations, in Directory and Academic Centers, Academic Athletic Associations; Junior and Service Provision Companies; Volunteer Student Social Organizations and Collective Student Social Organizations.
All organizations recognized by the Unit have a representative on the Council of Student Organizations, which is responsible for organizing and monitoring the Unit's Strategic Planning; preparing the proposed budget allocation for the Support Program for Extra-Curricular Student Activities (PAAEEC); recognizing new Student Organizations based on defined criteria, propose the discussion of matters of interest to students and issue an opinion on all matters submitted by the Director.
