The Analysis and Characterization of Materials provide services in the analysis of materials, including:

a) chemical composition analysis;

b) microstructural analysis by X-ray diffraction and microscopy;

c) hardness tests;

d) tensile and compression tests to obtain modulus of elasticity, yield strength, tensile strength limit, elongation, reduction in area and rupture limit,

e) corrosion tests.
